O Ensino da Arquitetura 1

Eu acredito que o desenho a mão ainda é necessário, para um primeiro esboço de uma ideia de projeto, visto que tanto no AutoCad como em outros programas paramétricos (Revit), são apenas ferramentas para tornar a ideia inicial em realidade. No entanto o Desenho de Arquitetura na Prancheta, com todos os traços e hierarquias de linhas e tons, podem ser suprimidos, basta que o entendimento seja feito através do estudo da profundidade dos objetos no espaço, tais como: corte e vistas. Essa matéria em uma sala de aula, podem ser estudados através de um croqui, que vai proporcionar destreza suficiente para a expressão daquilo que se quer produzir.

O avanço é tão grande, que hoje é possível um entendimento de um projeto através das diversas interfaces e camadas, inseridas em um único projeto  (
BIM ou Building Information Modeling), onde os demais projetos (estrutura, Instalações e canteiro), vão estar intimamente relacionados, facilitando inclusive o entendimento das diversas fases de um projeto, que antes estavam em projetos separados, dificultando a visualização por parte dos alunos. Com essa integração em 3D, o estudo da descritiva que era imprescindível, foi ficando para trás, pois a visão do espaço agora é real.

Dessa forma acho que devemos repensar o ensino da Arquitetura, não desperdiçando tempo com disciplinas que já estão incorporadas no próprio fazer arquitetônico, devemos sim, dar ênfase em outras matérias que são imprescindíveis, plástica, modelos em 3D (impressões 3D), física Newtoniana, acústica, instalações, conforto ambiental com ênfase em novas formas de energia renováveis, e preparar nossos alunos para um futuro que já está aí.

I believe hand drawing is still necessary for a first draft of a design idea, since both in AutoCad and other parametric programs (Revit) are just tools to make the initial idea a reality. However, the Drawing of Architecture in the Clipboard, with all the traces and hierarchies of lines and tones, can be suppressed, it is enough that the understanding is made through the study of the depth of the objects in the space, such as: cut and views. This matter in a classroom can be studied through a sketch, which will provide sufficient dexterity for the expression of what one wants to produce.

The advancement is so great that today it is possible to understand a project through the various interfaces and layers, inserted in a single project (

BIM or Building Information Modeling), where the other projects (structure, Facilities and construction) will be closely related, making it easier to understand the different phases of a project that were previously in separate projects, making it difficult for students to see. With this integration in 3D, the study of the descriptive that was essential, was falling behind, because the vision of space is now real.

In this way I think that we should rethink the teaching of Architecture, it was not time to discipline with that disciplines that are already incorporated in the architectural make itself, we should rather emphasize other subjects that are essential, plastic, 3D models, Newtonian physics, acoustics, facilities , environmental comfort with emphasis on new forms of renewable energy, and prepare our students for a future that is already there.
